My interest in photography took hold during some basic darkroom classes in college. I used a busted-up Yashica camera that was held together with rubber bands, and I shot all black and white with my 50mm lens, then spent hours dodging and burning prints with an enlarger. Now I use a mirrorless Nikon, and Photoshop and Lightroom. I have done other work but the images here are what I had in mind when I started out, fantasizing about traveling around the world shooting for National Geographic. I have been granted amazing opportunities to take photos in foreign lands with my wife Reagan and her fantastic parents. I cherish every second and try to capture a few of the awe-inspiring visuals.
